    The federally funded Child Care Food Program provides partial reimbursement to family child care providers for the meals they serve to the children in their care. Additionally, if income eligible, the provider's own children may participate in the program. The program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture. To participate in the program, the caregiver must be state registered, and complete monthly menus and meal count records.

    "Nourish Their Bodies, Feed Their Minds" is now available online. This resource guide provides afterschool and summer programs with detailed information on how to participate in the federal child nutrition programs; why and how to draw down federal funds for good nutrition; and how to add nutrition education to programming.
