Medicaid - Provides medical assistance to households and individuals. NJ FamilyCare - Offers free or low cost health insurance for uninsuredchildren 18 or younger. LIHEAP. (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) - Helps households pay their home heating costs. WFNJ/TANF. (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) - Provides temporary cash assistance. Also provides support services to families. WFNJ/GA. (General Assistance) - Provides temporary assistance to individuals and childless couples. NJ Cares for Kids - Offers assistance with childcare costs. Kinship Navigator Program - Provides assistance to adults who are raising a relative’s child.
